The Technical Regulator is responsible for the monitoring and regulation of safety and technical standards with respect to gas installations.

The Technical Regulator also implements and audits a mandated Gas Certificate of Compliance scheme for gas fitters, which contributes to the high standard of the gas industry in South Australia.
