Gas Appliances

The Gas Act 1997 requires gas appliances to be approved and appropriately labelled before they can be sold and installed.

Residential gas appliances include cookers, space heaters and water heaters. Industrial appliances are generally custom-built on the consumer's premises (e.g. a factory) and include equipment such as large industrial boilers and furnaces.
