The Energy Division has several resources available for loan to the South Australian community free of charge. To make a loan enquiry please fill out an application form and return it using the contact details provided.

Content: The Solar Trailer has been developed as a mobile, interactive and educational display which promotes renewable energy and energy efficiency actions. Whilst supervision is preferred, the trailer has been designed to operate effectively in a stand-alone mode.

Application: The sample kit provides a touch and feel box of energy efficient materials that can be used to improve a building's energy efficiency performance. Also included are information brochures that provide a background to energy efficiency principles. Observe the sun shadows noting how important passive solar principles are to building design. Bring in your own house model and measure it's environmental performance! The Australian Greenhouse Calculator allows you to work out your own households greenhouse gas emissions. Using the bar graphs you can compare your use to the average within your state or to green power alternatives.
